Shouldn't everyday have something to celebrate?

When I was working in education, it seemed to me that every day could feature a moment of recognition for the genius of the world... to celebrate the gifts that have emerged through human beings and humanity at large.

It seems that the world would be a better place if we could all recognise our unique gifts... our individual style or talent that brings more beauty to the world.

As I began to compile a list of the people and places that I chose to venerate... it occurred to me that this might serve to inspire other teachers, parents and indeed, people of all persuasions.

The other page on this site hosts a calendar where you can locate any day of the week, and month of the year and find videos describing "the genius of the day". I took the time to record videos explaining my thoughts on the different subjects and why they inspired me.
